Frequently Asked Questions
Can I combine multiple screenshots into one PDF?
Yes — this is the primary use case. Upload as many images as you want (no limit), drag them into the desired order, and click Convert. Each image becomes one page in the resulting PDF. This is ideal for creating step-by-step tutorials from screenshots, compiling design mockups, or building multi-page documentation.
What is the difference between Fit, Fill, and Stretch modes?
Fit mode scales the image to fit entirely within the page margins — no cropping, but may leave white space on sides or top/bottom. Fill mode scales the image to cover the full page area — no white space, but parts of the image may be cropped. Stretch mode ignores aspect ratio and forces the image to exactly fill the page — may distort the image. For screenshots, Fit mode is usually best.
What page size should I use for screenshots?
Use A4 for international documents and reports (most common globally). Use Letter for US-standard documents. For widescreen screenshots (16:9 ratio), Landscape orientation with A4 or Letter works best. For tall mobile screenshots, Portrait orientation with A4 is ideal. The "Auto" orientation option automatically detects whether each image is portrait or landscape.
Is there a limit to how many images I can convert?
There is no hard limit. The practical limit is your browser's available memory. Hundreds of high-resolution screenshots may cause performance issues on lower-end devices. For very large collections (50+ images), consider converting in batches and merging the resulting PDFs. Each image is compressed using JPEG compression before embedding in the PDF to keep file sizes manageable.
Will the PDF have a watermark?
No watermarks ever. The generated PDF is completely clean and ready for professional use, sharing, and printing. It's generated entirely in your browser using the jsPDF library — no server involvement, no branding added.
Is my data uploaded to a server?
No. All processing happens in your browser using jsPDF, a JavaScript PDF generation library. Your images are never sent to any server. The PDF is created entirely on your device and downloaded directly to your computer.
